Very clean room with all facilities. Great staff at the reception. Reception was right opposite to Kyoto station. Very easy to find using check in instructions. House was at walkable distance to bus stop. Shuttle service provided to the house.

The check in was in another location opposite Kyoto Station. You have to walk a fair bit to reach the ResiStay office. The registration was quick (if you check in online prior to arriving). ResiStay will give instructions on how to check in 3 days before arrival (if I remembered correctly). If you don't do that.. then the check in process will take a longer time. The one way shuttle to the accommodation is a big plus after check in. The staff at registration counter are very courteous and well mannered. Kudos to the team. ResiStay also provides free shuttle back to the accommodation after you return from sightseeing but you must go to their office to book the service. Very convenient. The location of the accommodation is near to bus stop & Gojozaka Train Station (Keihan Line). You can go anywhere easily. Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu Dera Temple, Nannensaka & Sannenzaka street are all within walking distance. If you love walking, you can explore Gion and the surrounding areas. Otherwise you can take a bus or train. Plenty of eateries down the street. Family Mart, Lawson and 7 Eleven is nearby. The room 303 is allocated for booking.com - it is quite small to house 5 pax but we managed. We enjoyed watching movies after a long day outside - just to chill. It is from a projector & gives the cinema feel. Very nice. Many channels. ResiStay is very thoughtful - they even have a manual in the accommodation - where they gave directions on how to go around to places of interest by bus and by train. Also what are the restaurants nearby. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at ResiStay Gojozaka. Will definitely stay here again - if we are in Kyoto.

Stayed for 5 nights. It was the most roomiest hotel we stayed in. a family of five with storage in the room for our suitcases. Washing machine & 6 detergent pods. Good size fridge. Comfortable beds. Space to park our pram beside the shoe storage. short walk to Kiyomizu-dera and train station. drink machine at the front door. The reception was very convenient across the road from the Kyoto train station (just came from Osaka) The gentleman made it very easy to check in, and they had a courtesy bus to take us to our accommodation.

Great hotel with good-sized rooms that are not too cramped. It was a plus having the washing machine but the dryer was not great and ended up hanging the clothes to dry which was not a big issue. Overall very happy.

The service was good and we had a pleasant stay. I really liked the facilities provided in the unit. Everything was very clean and tidy. Just a walking distance to most of the attractions too. Bus stop to Kyoto station also nearby about 5mins walk. Great location, wonderful. Definately will book again if we visit Kyoto in future.

collecting the key is near the Kyoto station, they have a good explanation about it, getting into the room is also easier. The location is the middle part of the Kyoto easier access to bus and subway
