The place is about a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station and about a 20-minute walk to Sanneizaka and Kiyomizu-dera. Kyoto National Museum is also very close, about a 5-minute walk. Bus stops and convenience stores are all within walking distance, too. The accommodation itself is quite good: they provide toiletries as well as towels and some tea and coffee. Staff is welcoming and nice. Also, they change the trash bins so you don't have to worry about it! It is a good place to stay if you are in Kyoto because it is a bit central and gives you good value for your money.

I had been to many different ,modern japanese hotels, but this is different. You get to experience sleeping in a tatami, the room was really nice and comfortable and really big when compared to the rest of the hotels. Location is great and the lady at the counter was really nice. You have coffe and water available and the rooms were clean.

Convenient location near to metro, and simple method of check-in - just come, take your key, pay the tax and do your thing, that's it! little porch in front of the room and frigobar within it were a plus.

Very close to 七条駅 and a convenient store. The toilet and bathroom aren't extremely clean especially in Japan. But generally, they are neat and clean enough.
