Continue along the road for about 500 metres, past the intersection with Shichi-jo-Dori Road, and the inn will be on your right.You must check in by 18:30 to eat dinner at the hotel. Guests who check-in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given.To eat dinner at the hotel, a reservation must be made at least 3 days before the check-in date.If you wish to bring children, please contact the property directly. Arrangements may be possible. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.Please note that there no lifts available at the property.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Really friendly and always smiling staff! They’re really happy to chat with you and give you recommendations for sightseeing / restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean and are carefully maintained in the 100 year old traditional Japanese style. The bathing facility is a bit on the smaller side but helps to relieve the sore muscles after a long day in Kyoto. Towels and Kimonos are provided. The traditional breakfast variates on a daily basis which makes each time a new delicious experience.

Best Accomodation I ever stayed in! The staff is so friendly & super cute! The rooms are awesome and the dinner as well as the breakfast is awesome - in here you get the full japanese experience. You get kiminos to wear and can the use in house onsen! Highly recommended! We enjoyed our stay so much!

The property provided beautiful Japanese hospitality. We stayed for one night to enjoy the half board experience (dinner and breakfast). The staff were unbelievably warm and kind and the room was clean and very large. The Kaiseki dinner was absolutely exquisite (served in a private dining room). A truly special experience for our Japan holiday

An incredible stay, exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were exceptional, so enthusiastic at every opportunity and couldn’t have done more to help us, including ordering our luggage forward at late notice and going above and beyond. Very clean and charming space with a lovely Onsen. It was a must do experience for us and we would stay again if we get the chance. Around 5 minutes walk from Kyoto station and a readily available 10 minute Uber to all the traditional old town sites.

We had a great stay here! Highly recommended if you are looking for an authentic japanese experience, the staff is great they are there to support you with anything you need. The rooms are very good and traditional, we did not eat in the hotel but if we had the opportunity to go back we would love to try the food. The people running the place have the most welcoming and warm service. Truly a place I would recommend to my friends and family! Also its very close to the train station and one minute walking from one of the most beautiful wooden temples in kyoto.

The breakfast was the most fantastic part of the whole stay. Served with sumptuous food and nice coffee in the morning. The service from everyone was above our expectation.
