According to the regulations of Kyoto City, all windows of guest rooms are locked. Therefore, in all guest rooms, the air is regularly replaced by using a humidified air purifier and the latest ventilation system.[Notice regarding breakfast service]
Oakwood Hotel Oike Kyoto will be undergoing kitchen renovation work on the following dates.

We would like to inform you that the entire hotel will be subject to a power outage due to regular equipment inspection from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.• From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, electricity in the guest rooms will be cut off, and all electrical appliances, outlets, telephones, induction heaters, refrigerators, televisions, washer-dryers, hot water, toilets, bathtubs, bathroom dryers, etc. will be unavailable.

About 10 minutes walk to station. Other than that, its near to nishiki market with about 10 minutes walk. They provide water dispenser and free flow beverages at lounge.

It’s the third time I stayed in this hotel. Love it so much! Excellent in every aspect. Good location, modern design, safe, nice and helpful staff, well equipped deluxe studio. Wonderful cool and hot air conditioning system. Have booked a room and will stay there again next April for the cherry blossom season!

Great location close enough the Imperial Palace garden (nice for unobstructed jogging) and plenty of nice restaurants and shops in the area just south.

Room is bigger than usual Japan size! Location is central but still on a very quiet area. Option to skip daily room cleaning and get a 500Y gift card.

The hotel is situated in a quiet street which we appreciated very much. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were super comfortable. We slept well at night, as it was really quiet in the halls. The staff were extremely helpful with sending our luggage to the next hotel. We made good use of the washing machine and dryer the hotel provided. If we were to come to Kyoto again, we would definetly stay here again.

Great modern hotel in a very convenient location. Shopping streets and metro station very close to the hotel. The room had decent size, everything clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large, with big bath/shower. The wifi was good. The room was very quiet, no noice from the outside or from halls. The staff was always friendly. Big plus was the free drinks in the hotel lobby during the day.

The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is really modern. Lots of facilities available. Washing machine and dryer were a life saver after travelling for so long. The free drink machine was a great added touch. Not noisy so you’ll sleep great

The locations was pretty good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't have breakfast you had access to free soft drinks through the day which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and tidy and well presented
