The property offers a taste of tradition with clean and tidy rooms featuring tatami mat flooring and mud walls, complemented by a modern bathroom. The water pressure is good, and a hairdryer is provided. The check-in and check-out process is easy, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Additionally, the property is in a good location with interesting streets and plenty to see.

Central location, not far from the main station; traditional building, tatami mats and futon. Reasonably comfortable and convenient base for exploring Kyoto.

Stuff were very kind, room was clean and my special wish for the pillow and blanket was perfectly taken into account. Bath+ breakfast 10 points :) Thank you very, very much for everything!

The place looks better than in the photos. To be honest I was dreading the stay because in Tokyo I had stayed on a Tatami floor and it was awful. The pad they laid out did nothing and I slept poorly. This was absolutely not the case here though. The pads provided are very comfortable and I slept very well. The place is SO cozy. It was pouring it down and I was happy to stay in and listen to the rain. All in all it was just very comfortable and ambient. Facilities were good - plenty of umbrellAs and a hair dryer was appreciated. Staff very nice.

Other tourists from Germany were very loud. That is something the host cannot do anything about. That is a cultural thing.
