We had a wonderful stay here. Loved the daily breakfast delivered to our room and the individual bath was awesome. Staff very friendly and a very clean room! Highly recommend.

This was a last minute booking due to a change of plans, and we struck gold. It's well located, a 15/20 minute walk from Tokyo station and from the Gion area. Although it looks a relatively modern building, it has a traditional feel, with tatami mats and shoji panels. The furnishing are also nicely selected to give an authentic experience, including floor chairs and (unusually for a hotel room of this size) 2 chairs and small tables. Although I would have quite liked futons, the beds were better for our backs and very comfortable. The bathroom had a new cedar wood tub, which again gave a bit of an onsen feel. The staff were great too, very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They provide an impressive range of maps showing local cafes and restaurants - even going so far as to identify opening hours over the Christmas and New Year break. Highly recommended

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were nice and spacious that could fit all our luggage in without feeling crammed and check-in and out was super easy!

Immensely hospitable staff and an extremely comfortable and attractive room. The cypress wood bath is dreamy! Although the location isn’t immediately proximate to major attractions it’s in a very pleasant neighbourhood and, as well as being just a 15-20 minute walk from Kyoto station, is a delightful shorter walk across the scenic Kamo river to Shichijo station on the Keihan railway.

The premise is located in front of the serene alley with stream so it was peaceful. The staffs converse well with English and superb polite and friendly in assisting my luggage, logistic arrangements, and even giving out heat packs. The Kaiseki breakfast was healthy and although it does not look fancy, but it is hearty. The cleanliness of the premise is spectacular and I have never slept so soundly during my entire trip.

We loved this place! The location is in a quiet neighborhood with cute shops, cafes and bars around and only a 15min walk to everything else. The staff was excellent and met all our needs with the highest professionalism. The room is very aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Breakfast is served in your room which was also a good surprise.

I loved the style of the rooms and how clean they were. The bath was a nice touch after a long day of walking, and the breakfasts were good. I would highly recommend this place!
