The location is very convenient, near the Kyoto station. The house was clean, the owner is very nice, speaking English well and the breakfast was very good. My family had a good time here

400m from Kyoto train station. Very convenient! The innkeeper is fun to have conversations with. Extremely friendly, please consider brushing up your singing skill. Possible karaoke session with him!

Mr. Shima is an amazing host with great positive vibes! The place is walking distance from the Kyoto station. Mr. Shima was kind enough to provide vegetarian options for breakfast. Thanks!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The host was incredibly helpful and kind and he cooks very nice breakfasts. Facilities are very good. I highly recommend it.

Location, breakfast and the host - Kouzi-san was very friendly and accommodating. Offered us a drink the first night, it was a very nice way to get a feel for Japanese life, while talking to Kouzi-san.

It feels like you are at a friends place rather than in a hotel or hostel. The owner is super friendly and gave the best inside info on where to find good food or the best shops for souvenirs. He's forthcoming and helps you in every way he can. It always felt nice to come home and talk to somebody about your day or japanese culture in general. If you want a unique personal experience you should come here - if we come to Japan again we are making sure to visit! Other things to mention: - japanese style bath with plenty of shampoo, conditioner etc - you get everything: towel, toothbrush, hairdryer - washing machine is free you only have to pay for the dryer (100yen/10min and this machine is pretty good) - Super location! walking distance to > kyoto station > a lot of restaurants > kyoto tower ....
