Private double room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Toilets and shared showers were always clean and tidy. Location was close to convenience stores and a few nice shops & bakeries. Even though the hostel is situated a while away from the ‘old town’ we preferred this!

The most spacious hostel I have ever been, it felt such a luxury!!! There was a small desk with a chair next to each bed, and enough space to keep your suitcase and open it next to your bed which is always a struggle in Japan and generally in honstels! Also there was so much space between the rows of beds, they could have easily fitted one more in between, but they didn't which made everything so airy! I slept and felt amazingly here! They had a dyson hairdryer which was amazing (alongside other older hairdryers that got some awards a couple of years ago), quite nice for the hair while travelling! :)

Good location, slightly weird layout but would recommend it for location and comfortable beds! Fine for a short stay.

Even in a room with 18 beds, each one has your own little room with a desk, space for lugagge, hangers, plugs, etc. Really good and spacious! Location is great to go to Nishiki Market (1,2km), and from there is also easy to cross to Gyoen and explore the area. You have market and some restaurants really close too. To the metro with the luggage was a bit of a walk, like 15-20min, but ok. Washing clothes were a bit expensive and the dryers are not so strong. Bathroom was always clean, exclusive for woman, with all amenities.

Very good location, bear the center and many buses. The bed was comfortable. The rooms had a good sound isolation, couldn't hear the neighbours so much.

Everything was amazing! Clean bedrooms and bathrooms, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the location was awesome!
