The breakfast was very good. Exactly what I was expecting from a Ryokan. The choice of times for service in the room was good, and provided a lot of flexibility. The staff were fantastic. Very accommodating with our requests.

The bedding was luxurios and the room was spacious. The staff were very helpful. The inside bath was very deep and therefore so comfortable.

Spacious room, nice kaiseki breakfast, recently renovated, but still in traditional japanese style. Very close to Kinkaku-ji and Ryoan-ji. Post and Yamato service center near by.

A lovely one night stay. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We booked the private onsen which was a real treat. Some of the carpets and furnishings need updating but over all it was clean, tidy and we were provided with everything we needed.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this ryokan! Very helpful/friendly staff as well as clean and spacious, traditional rooms. While not located at the centre, it gives you another aspect of Kyoto life while being close to a number of attractions such as the Golden Temple or the Nijo-jo. Highly recommended!

This Property is away from the main town..So you got to travel a lot to see around..The property is good and modern with a mix of Japanese style. It's close to the golden temple. The area is a quite and mix of old and new architecture.

We absolutely adored our stay in this beautiful ryokan. We especially loved the tatami room as well as our private garden with onsen. The bathroom opened to the outside, which was a unique touch.
