No food service but many restaurants and some foods shops near by ,no problem. the location is little far from Kyoto station about 20 minute.

It was awesome. Takashi san was the perfect host. Though it might be some distance from the tourist spots but there are several bus stops with frequent bus taking you to any spots you want around Kyoto. Other than that, everything was perfect. The house was equipped with floor heating, condusive beds, spacious bathroom with bathtub, a washing machine, basically it’s a complete home.

The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The home has everything you need and is immaculate. Futons and other beds are very comfortable and warm. Lots of room to stretch your legs. Heated table was a real treat!

Takashi san even picked us up via his van from kyoto station when we got there and explained everything in the house for us. From how to use the different appliance and kitchenware from the house up to the complicated bathtub that is so great to soak in. we are a group of 4 with lots of baggage so the pickup to and from the house is very helpful.

Takashi's house was perfect for our four days in Kyoto - quiet, spotless, well-equipped and comfortable. Takashi communicated well before and during the trip and drove us to and from the station.

Takashi san was very accommodating and friendly. The house was very clean, nice to be able to do your laundry (especially with a 18 months baby). 10 - 15 minutes walk to bus stops for different attractions.
