Traditional japanese accomodation located in a residential area of Kyoto, away from the crowds. Peaceful place with a cute garden and reasonably priced in site restaurant which serves japanese food. There are less known temples in the vicinity. Closest train station is about 20 min walk from the Ryokan.

Our favorite hotel we stayed in during our trip to Japan. We dreamt of a Ryokan and we got exactly what we had in mind : peace, comfort and a bit of nature.

Beautiful traditional ryokan with lovely garden in the middle to enjoy. Choice of western or traditional Japanese breakfast. Comfy and very spacious rooms.

The private garden and the authentic Japanese living room mixed with the modern feel. The bathroom was spacious and the shower room is big with a view out into the forest.
