Due to Legal Inspection of Electrical EquipmentWe are performing a legal inspection of electrical equipment on the following schedule.
The entire building including the hotel will be closed and thus cannot be entered. The phone calls will not be connected also.
Yasaka Endo THE CELESTINE KYOTO GION (the restaurant on the first basement floor) will be closed on the same date.
The entrance of the building will be opened at 15:00 of January 15th.

Very nice and cozy hotel to stay in Kyoto. Very conveniently located to get to all the important places. Onsen is beyond praise - a super feature after long walks around the city. The restaurant is very tasty, and the staff does their job perfectly.

very nice staff, a lot of thanks to Ms. Iwai who has welcomed us and also helped us to find a good restaurant. The reception realized the day we checked in was birthday of my wife and sent her very warm congratulations. Very good location, nearby Gion, Kennonji. Many restaurants and bars on the Yamatooji-Dori. The beds are very comfortable, open lavabo area. Beautiful sunken garden. excellent price-performance-ratio.

the check in process was amazing, very welcoming and friendly with staff accompanying us to our room and helping familiarise with everything. The location is perfect, walking distance to so many attractions. Breakfast ok.

The staff were super attentive, friendly and made our stay really special. The rooms were spacious enough, cozy and the amenities were great! They left birthday cards on our bed (both our birthdays were in close dates to our stay there) signed by the staff with personal messages by each one of them! That was a really special gesture that summarizes our experience. Highly recommended!

The hotel was in an excellent location. Right in the middle of Gion which was walking distance to downtown Kyoto and Kiyiomizudera temple. The hotel is also situated next to a temple with a beautiful zen garden. I also love that the hotel has a public hot bath. It also provides shuttle bus service to and from Kyoto station. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at The Celestine and we will surely return again.

The location is fantastic! In the heart of Gion and close walking distance to the main temples/ shines / gardens / cute shopping streets and bars. Four Seasons and Six Senses are both in another part and much more commercial and busy - doesn’t feel as authentic as this hotel’s location.
