DIRECTIONS: Take bus No. 9 or No. 50 from JR Kyoto Station, and get off at Horikawa Shimodachiuri bus stop. There is a Fresco supermarket on the corner just 5 metres from the bus stop. Turn right at the corner and walk 6 blocks, then turn right again and you will find the hostel on your right.An accommodation tax per person per night is not included in the price and needs to be paid at the property. Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The staff were very friendly, showed me around the property and made sure I was comfortable! They have information about restaurants and facilities around. The hostel was very comfortable and decorated very nicely.

I loved hostel Mundo and all its guests and workers. It's a charming traditional Japanese home and I really appreciated the common area where we could all chill together. The bed I had in my single room was also the most comfortable I've had in a while. Shout out to the receptionist! :D She's the best!
