After walking through the beautiful streets of Kyoto, we headed to the guesthouse. At first, the surrounding streets looked less charming, and we were a bit worried the guesthouse might be disappointing. However, to our surprise, the building was extremely well preserved—it felt like spending the night in a museum. We stayed in the room with a view of the Zen garden and enjoyed every minute of it. The owner was incredibly friendly and guided us through everything we needed to know. I will definitely come back if the opportunity arises.

Nari was extremely kind and friendly. Though the place has limited facilities, I had a pleasant stay thanks to her warm support. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The bed was well equipped. There was even an electric blanket. The common area is cosy with the kotatsu tables.

We loved this place, it was in a 100+ year old traditional Japanese house which was amazing, staff were really friendly and helpful, will definitely stay again

A super authentic experience that was accompanied by fantastic service from the owner. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the shared amenities were more than enough. Nari cooked up a superb breakfast every morning! We needed to leave early in the morning on the last day of our stay, and call a taxi. All we had to do was ask and it was done for us.

Cozy house with comfy beds,had a great sleep and the neighbourhood is quiet but still near to bus stop to the centre. We also had breakfast and it was so good!Thank you for the great stay for my first time at kyoto :)

This is such a lovely and cute tradition house. The staff are very lovely and the interior design is unique. I also like the fact that it is quiet from 11pm so that we all can sleep peacefully! Great place for solo traveller!
