Having been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, FUJITAYA Kyoto is a charming guest house located in a quiet residential area, under 10 minutes’ walk from JR Tambaguchi Station. It offers a shared lounge with WiFi access and laundry facilities.
Bike rental services are available at a charge.
Each room comes with futon mats to be spread on sand-coloured tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Bathrooms and toilets are shared for all rooms while towels are provided for every guest.
The guest house is a 2-minute train ride from JR Kyoto Station and a 2-hour express train ride from Kansai International Airport. Kiyomizu-dera temple is a 30-minute bus ride away. There is a restaurant, a convenience store and a public bath facility within a 3-minute walk from the property.

“Nice place to stay in Kyoto”

Decent sized room. Check in and checkout done by yourself. Kitchen facilities, comfortable futon. Shower was hot and with good pressure. Toilets upstairs were clean. Good heater in the room.
