The room facilities exceeded our expectations and the hotel is in a fabulous area for shopping, transport, eateries and bars. We were in good walking distance to many gardens and cultural icons. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous with good English.

Everything. Room and bathroom were spacious by Japan standards. Beds were comfortable. Hot water pressure was fantastic. Lovely room in a great location..Highly recommended. Big lobby to wait around with free coffee. Helpful staff.

That was my second time in this hotel, and it was great as the first. Very well located, charming decoration, new installations and great breakfast. I especially like the bathroom, the place for the shower is separate from the bathtub, and there's a different floor that gets dry very quickly. Would stay there again if in Kyoto.

Very conveniently located hotel (walking distance to great attractions/activities, and very close to various public transport routes). The hotel has great amenities, the room was spacious with free WiFi, and it was close to some amazing restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel given its value-for-money.
