Very funky hotel - rooms are spacious and clean.. huge bathroom too! Staff were helpful and convenience stores across the road. They offered cocktails each night to guests. Only thing was our room was very bright and difficult to fall asleep in!!

Very funky hotel in excellent location - the little road at the back - Kiyamachi-dori- is lined with restaurants. The style is minimalist, so no drawers or wardrobes, just a few coat hangers on a rack. It had an excellent shower, and their home made gin is delicious However for over £250 a night I expect room service! Stop using Covid as an excuse not to provide a housekeeping service

Location, location, location and wonderful staff make this a great place to stay. Interesting alternative art in rooms may be challenging to some more traditional guests.

Friendly staff with a great concept for the rooms, the bathrooms were excellent too. Great bar down stairs with an awesome bartender. It's a good spot to get the night started and to end. . Awesome location in kyoto.

The room was super clean and very particular and beautiful.. just a bit smaller than the pictures let imagine but still spacious enough to accommodate two people with luggage. Position is excellent

This hotel was really lovely and we loved the art-style rooms and the staff explained the artist to us and what the inspiration was which was cool. Very central and easy to get everywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Excellent location. We used the cafe for coffee and other refreshments, and we ordered a black sesame terrine and ice cream, which was fabulous! Every room had a different artistic theme and we all liked our rooms. I did, however, swop with my daughter as I prefer a light room, and l was originally allocated a very dark room. My daughter was very happy to swap! The complimentary cocktail every night was very welcome, and both barmen were extremely friendly and chatty.

Shogo (I hope I spelled it right) was so nice when we checked in! All of the staff was very helpful, they even sent our luggage to the airport for us (for a fee). Our room 303 was super special and the bed was very comfortable! It even glowed in the dark. I would absolutely stay here again!
