The location was good for what we wanted to do. I like that we had two bathrooms & two bedrooms. The refurbishment of this traditional house was to very high standards & I hope to stay here again. The host was extremely helpful & easy to contact.

The location of this apartment/villa is in the heart of Gion and literally minutes walk from all of the tourist areas. It was an easy 20 min bus ride from the train station and had many supermarkets close by. The property was spacious and quite modern but in a traditional style. Very clean and was serviced daily.

Amazing location. Close to everything you need. Takake-san was an amazing host. I loved the e-concierge option. Thanks for the little gift on arrival and for helping us book a taxi on our final morning. The apartment fit a family of 5 quite easily. We used the kitchenette everyday for breakfast. I have teenagers who all fit in quite well. I loved the Japanese bath , the tatami mats and the futons. It was all so very comfortable.

Location superb, house beautiful and everything we expected. Host was lovely and gave us lots of information. Would happily recommend and would definitely stay again if we came back to Kyoto

It was wonderful to have extra space and also stay in a traditional Japanese home. This have been refurbished to a high standard and provided a perfect respite from the crowded streets on Kyoto. The location can’t be best. We had great help from Takase - San too in booking restaurants etc.

Incredible location, and the chance to stay in a traditional Kyoto house. There is a washing machine and free detergent. Very clean and comfy. Lots of space too, felt like our home for a few days! They even change the towels for you each day!

Nice and cosy house, with smart bathroom and floor heating. Suitable for staying long term. It was in the middle of Higashiyama and close to all the attractions.

The house is very nice, clean and comfortable. The situation is excellent since it is placed in a very quiet street in the nicest area of Kyoto. Very convenient as there are a lot of bus and train stops nearby. Close to touristic attractions and a lot of restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. The owner has been very helpful and kind so I strongly recommend it.
