Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location, no street noise. An ingenious shower cabin, which featured warm air during the shower and a function for drying washed clothes with hot air. Inside the room a toaster, microwave, fridge, a quiet top-loader washer (complete with detergent and hangers), some basic kitchen utensils. Everything is explained exactly in a manual, conveniently. A well stocked 24/7 convenience store is 200m from the rooms. A 10 minute quick walk to the nearest subway station.

It was a small apartment, but it had everything we needed, including a washing machine. We also enjoyed the location in a quiet street, but on walking distance from the train-/ metro stations, supermarkets, vending machines, izikayas, etc.. We would gladly stay again when in Kyoto.

Room is spacious enough for a bed and a sofa bed plus two luggage and would still have enough room to walk around.

We arrived a Kyoto Late so were provided the access code to the hotel, accessed the room and then didn't need to interact with anyone nor saw any staff for the entire stay. This suited us but if you're used to house keeping or want a 24h desk then it might not be for you. Once we left it was a case of leaving the key in the box and we were away. The room was very spacious with separate kitchenette and washing machine and the apartment was clean, quiet and comfortable despite being on the ground floor at road level. Unlike a lot of apartments on Booking.com this didn't have a "BNB" feel to is where you had to wait for a host and was a whole host of apartments set out like a hotel.

Lovely location, perfect place to leave your stuff and explore Kyoto. Bathroom and bath were great, had what you needed to cook simple meals and decent wifi.
