Really like ALA Hotel Kyoto, room is really clean, spacious room and comfortable. Love that they provided free laundry and dryer and allocated area for Women and Men separately. Only need to purchase ¥50 detergent from counter. Onsen is so good and very clean. So comfortable after a long day walk in Kyoto to be able to soak in Onsen. The most comfortable hotel I have stayed in Kyoto. Location is good as it’s near Kyoto Station.

Nice accomodation only steps from Kyoto train station. The baths were great (and tattoo friendly!) and breakfast had lots of great options.

It is less than 10-min walking distance from Kyoto station and very easy to find. Our room was quite big considering normal Japanese hotel rooms. Public spa was great including outdoor one. Excellent in overall if you would like to look for a hotel near the station and relax after your day.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in the city: location, room, service, and breakfast are all above expectation. It is very close to Kyoto Station, with one 7-11 across the street. Front desk is very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and spacious compared with other business hotels. Floors are limited to guests only. It also has a decent public bath, which is unthinkable with the roughly $100 USD rate. Breakfast is in the ball room, with great variety.

The whole hotel premise is neat and well taken care of. Our room is massive for Japan standards, beds are comfortable and separate toilet & shower are clean. The location also is accessible and only walking distance from the metro station and convenience store. Will surely book this hotel again!
