this is a fantastic place to stay. perfect location, delicious and large breakfast (prepared by the owner's son), and just a wonderful vibe all around. the owner went out of her way to make us feel at home and help us book transportation back to Sapporo. we couldn't have done it without her!

Cosy, comfortable, calm guesthouse in an incredible location! We felt so welcomed by the staff and felt instantly at home. Spacious rooms, we opted for the futons which were very comfortable. The other guests were friendly and respectful so overall it was a good vibe.

We loved our stay at pension berg. Perfect location, and the staff were very accomodating and friendly. They helped us arrange ski hire and were friendly through our whole stay.

it is cozy, breakfast is delicious. Pension berg has prepared everything you could think of , even for the ski rental recommendation. rooms, toilet and bath room are super clean. location wise is it super close to either the ace gondola or family lift. we love the staff in pension berg the most. they are super helpful and really go extra miles to help the residents . they saved our life when we couldn’t find a taxi to the train station due to the big snow.
