Booked a supreme room, value was appropriate. Dinner (at additional cost) was really quite amazing. Room had an awesome view and the onsen is great.

The staff were very, very friendly and polite. I made a reservation for two people but I ended up going alone. They understood the situation and offered me a discounted rate for the same room. Thanks! The location is also perfect: just about a hundred meters walking from the Yubatake.

very attentive staff. While we are able to speak some Japanese, the staff were very accomodating to our limited understanding, and endeavoured to speak English where possible, assigning us staff with more capable English skills to assist with communication. The onsen was very clean and comfortable, both the indoor bath and the picturesque small outdoor bath. the food was incredible - kaiseki dining at its finest; with each dish explained to us along with the correct method of enjoying them to their fullest.
