The peacefulness and outlook into the forest. We were also given a phone so that we could request a transfer to the main hotel 24 hours per day.

Perfect to go to the onsen when ever you want. The onsen is open from 15.00 to 11.00 next day. Shuttlebus to town goes twice every hour.

Our hotel room was gorgeous! Combination of western and Japanese style. So lovely. The view from the room was also lovely. Indoor and outdoor onsen was just amazing! Especially the outside onsen with the snow setting. So gorgeous. Attaching view from our hotel room :)

It was a nice Japanese experience. Staff were great. Breakfast and dinner were Japanese style and delicious. The onsen was a wonderfully unique experience. It was a short drive to a small ski field. The shuttle into town was convenient.

Very spacious cabin hut, very warm and cozy in the winter. Onsen was very nice. Free shuttlebus was very convenient and necessary. The food was very very good.

We had a bungalow away from the hotel which we loved. It felt like we had our own little house in the woods. Bungalow was wam when we arrived and we had our own private onsen

Well the old-fashioned hotel from another century is worth the trip! You will find yourself in a Miyazaki storyline. Our room was quite spacious and well furnished. The hotel has few entertaining areas like bowling, crane machines, onsen and a pool (charged), closing pretty early. They also have a cafe and restaurants. The staff speaks English. The plus: a free shuttle bus will stop at the bus terminal to and from the hotel. A convenient store (Lawson) is located around the hotel.

We take the lodge house which is very big and spacious for my family of 5. The design with wooden blocks is very beautiful. The lodge house is a bit far from main hotel building but shutter bus is always available.

We stayed in cabins, it was good and specious..But was not cleaned properly.. These are away from the main hotel, so it's a distance to walk..I believe they provide transportation to come to main building, but I didn't use it as we had our bikes..They have a natural onsen but indoor which you need to pay extra, it in the main building.It was a good experience..I was expecting an outdoor like the picture shown, but couldn't find it..
