Please note that Hotel Elbiente can not be reached by car. Guests arriving by car are advised to park on the other side of the River Elbe and take the ferry, which runs daily from 05:00 until 00:00.
Guests arriving by car should enter Kurort Rathen Train Station into their satellite navigation system.
Guests are welcome to opt out of room cleaning and a towel change.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The views from the room and balcony are great. The breakfast was very tasty. For dinner they have fish, meat and vegetarian options. The swimming pool is small, but while we were there it was never crowded. The person in charge of the hotel that weekend was very friendly.

Our room faced the river and the ferry, so we spent ages on the balcony with cups of coffee, just watching life on the river. The hotel is right at the entrance to the national park, lots of hike routes start here and we were able to make the most of the balmy autumn weather and stunning woods. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. We will be back, as there's still lots to see and lots to do in this area.

We were moved to a sister hotel the Steiger Elbschloesschen 200m away, due renovations pulled forward. Good comms about change and we ended up with an upgrade hotel.
