The staff were really kind and the restaurant/cafe was nice with good food. The little ghibli pin above the socket was a fun hidden touch to the room and the slippers were really comfortable, as well as the beds even if the duvet cover felt a bit papery.

Great hotel in very central location. Lots of interesting and quirky touches and decent sized room for Japan. Common area and laundry very useful.

It is a really nice hostel, with cleam bathroom and friendly personal. It was just 10min walk from the train station next to the historic town.

Tidy, comfortable apartment in an annex several bulidings away from the main bar/reception area. The location was excellent, close to the Bikan historic area. Cooking pots & plates were provided but no cooking or eatting utensils or cups.

- Exceptional value for money, these scores are given in context of the price. - Wonderful location within the Bikan Historic District, an easy walk to the canal. - Staff super helpful in spite of limited English (happy to use translation apps). Please exercise patience with them. - The Deluxe Double room - in a separate building from the reception and bar area - was spacious, clean and quiet. - They were happy to store our bags before check in time. - Super cosy reception/bar/breakfast area with library of books and a little movie area. - A live DJ played chilled tracks during 'cocktail hour'

Really great value for money! The female bathroom provided basically all the toiletries you might need and had multiple showers and basins so you didn't have to wait for anyone. The room quite private because of the way the room was divided by walls and the bed felt very cosy because they provided a heat adjustable futon. The room also had a window. Located in the picturesque area of Kurashiki.

Right by the canal and wooden houses of the historical district. If you go for the premium twin room it has a private bathroom, little kitchen and washing machine in the room at an incredibly low price. Add in breakfast and a cool bar and it's great value for the money.

You can request room cleaning service from the front desk, they offer luggage forwarding services as well as taxi hailing services from as early as 7am There also many established food stores around with exceptional food.
