Mr. Visvanath is an excellent host. He goes out of his way to make the stay very comfortable. I will definetly recommend for any one going for a temple tour in and around Kumbakonam.

Breakfast was awesome, sufficient & homely. Property location was very quiet and serene but reaching this property is little tricky. It’s ok all we need is peaceful stay. If not going anywhere around, this place would be really fantastic one to stay undoubtedly.

Maha Periyava Kuteeram is a beautifully located Homestay with farms surrounding the space. At the homestay space also the owner has maintained a beautiful decor, interiors styling and the necessary / basic requirement elements like toiletries, cupboard space, and common space and an open kitchen area that can be utilized by guests.

Very simple and beautifully decorated home. Warm and inviting. You get the feel that nature is with you Vishwanath and his family are good hosts. The rooms are clean with basic amenities in order. The food is simple but homemade and is yummy. The payasam (kheer) was out of the world. Strongly recommend a visit. It is away from the main city, amidst the fields.
