Traditional house interiors. Has a wonderful Antiques museum. Very good home cooked breakfast.

This is a very beautiful and interesting building that also houses a curiosity shop. There are restaurants and kiosks all around the property and the breakfast served here was the best we had during our time in India. The Owner is a lovely woman and nothing is too much trouble for her. The rooms are very clean and tidy with great air conditioning.

The Wooden Castle is beautiful, and within easy walking distance of the canal and restaurants. I had a lovely room with a big balcony and a very comfortable bed. The family who run this hotel are so friendly and helpful. They booked me an early boat to watch the sunrise and the opening of the water lilies on the canals and lake. It was magical. Then I was fed a huge, delicious home-cooked breakfast. Thank you for your hospitality.

A beautiful wooden building with very comfortable rooms. Very clean and, as it is set back from the road, quiet. Viji provides a delicious breakfast and the dinner she made for us was excellent. Good location for the bird sanctuary and backwater boating - a bit out from the centre of town but easy to get a tuk-tuk.
