Everything ! Location, the entry in a boat, sit outs, various activities available, food, and of course the super efficient Spa service. Beautiful serene views and peace. And yes the open to sky bathrooms.

The location was away from the main town of Kumarakom..nestled in the wild..away from hectic, frantic city life..Bird watching & naturalist commentary was quite informative.. The complimentary breakfast had variety,wholesome & delicious.

Loved the well crafted wooden house- a lovely little bungalow- and the outdoor bathroom. The location with views of Lake Vembanad. The meals were great and the restaurant service excellent and the afternoon tea was a delight. There was so much to do in the grounds that we did not leave the hotel during our four day stay. Arriving by boat to a piped welcome was a real highlight.

The property is beautiful and peaceful with the sounds of birds chirping and the water flowing past. We loved in particular the lovely staff and the activities available on site. We travelled with an 18 month old, and while there aren’t babysitting or playground type resources for young kids, the nature itself was exciting for our daughter and the staff treated her with such kindness, with flexible earlier meals for her too. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

Everything. Such a wide range of activities on and off site that you can do. As always in India, impeccable service. The hammocks overlooking the backwaters The food at the restaurant was tasty, I only tried the Indian options. Outside showers 😍

Great location on the edge of the lake surrounded by little waterways. Beautiful buildings with huge rooms. Staff were amazing.
