Featuring a garden and views of garden, Greenstone Retreat is a guest house situated in a historic building in Kumara, 25 km from Greymouth Railway Station. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

This room called the Nest is suitable for a single, couple or small family and features a shared bathroom. Guests have access to hot water bottles and beanbags. Beds are fully made up and towels are provided. There is an separate lounge and outdoor covered kitchen with a BBQ, hot plate, kettle, toaster, air fryer oven and cooking utensils. WiFi is freely available.

We enjoyed being away from the bigger towns. It was nice and quiet and we got some time to rest and relax.

This place is awesome ,Kate is just fantastic, we stayed in Lolly the caravan was so cool and quirky and fantastic value for money , although we didn't do the yoga or massage I'm sure it would be awesome

Kate was super helpful and was available to offer us suggestions for the area and about the property. She also ran very reasonably priced group yoga classes that my family loved attending. The villa we rented was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped with kitchen equipment and lovely linen, and although it doesn’t have a television, we played a number of new, different games as a family of 5 adults. Thank you so much Kate!

I love this place so much! With an outdoor kitchen, clean facilities, warm rooms and laundry facilities it was everything we needed in a perfect location.
