Hotel Overview

Situated in Kuching, The Village House is just a 3-minute walk from Santubong Beach and a 7-minute drive from Santubong Mountain and the Sarawak Cultural Village. It houses an outdoor pool and offers free WiFi in its public areas.

The property is fabulous. It is like a little oasis. A lovely pool surrounded by the rooms and plentiful vegetation. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to be helpful and make sure you are enjoying your stay. Can’t recommend the place highly enough.

Awesome place to disconnect and recharge! The garden is lovely, and I loved the big pool. All staff members are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The area offers some great activities and excursions, too!

The Hotel is great! It has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. I was very surprised about how lovely the place was decorated. Itˋs a perfect place to slow down and relax for a few days including the possibility to go to one of the national parks close by. It was really quiet at Night and also during the day by the Pool. The staff is really friendly and breakfast is good.

- wonderful staff and service - pool is super refreshing after a long day hiking - easy to coordinate w the hotel by WhatsApp (beforehand and during stay) - dormitories bathroom is quite big and 2 showers for 6 beds is a very good ratio

swimming pool is amazing, breakfast really rich and delicious, staff available, kind, and friendly (they helped me a lot) and the atmospheer very relaxing, they gave me a bike for free tovisit the village (and a map with info). i highly recommend!! there is even a leg massage chair for free! Only disappointing point for me qas to find out that I couldn't swim at te beaxch nearby because of crocodiles. I should have checked better! Thanfully they told me! But not far form there there is another beach (10 min by car) where you can swim.

The room is clean and comfy. A place of peace and quiet, a place to relax and unwind. The management and staffs are very helpful and friendly. Really appreciate their understanding and kindness. The breakfast is good, around the pool area with the beautiful frangipani tree and plants. Just beautiful. This is a memorable stay, thank you so much.
