The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Nice, local location on the other side of the river. Easy access to the town side by boat. Lovely hosts, they even brought us amazing malay kuih every morning!! Stay away from the crowds and enjoy your own private Kuching paradise ♡

There is a little fridge in the room, the and coffee. Very cleaned. Host very friendly and available if you need help. Nice experience.

The owner was friendly and helpful. Place clean and comfortable, there was washing machine and outdoor kitchen. Good place to stay out of the city.

The guesthouse is located north of the Sarawak River. A jetty to cross the river to the waterfront part of the city is within a 5 minute walk and costs only 2 MYR. The owner is very friendly, polite and has a very warm hospitality. He also provides information for excursions. Communication was very easy via WhatsApp when he was not around, also for check-in. There is free water and a small kitchen outside in case you want to cook something yourself.

The place is very clean. The staff is so lovely, extremely helpful and kind! Only downside is that the walls are quite thin and you can hear what’s happening in the other guests’ rooms. Overall, I recommend this place

Matnor, the owner, was very nice and helpful. He even prepared us a nice snack before check-out. I'd definitely recommend this accommodation if you don't mind staying not so close to the city centre.

Very nice place, pak cik very kind and helpful. Also hang small bag of kuih on our door every morning which was very appreciated. He even send us to the airport when there was no grab before our very early flight, thank you!
