The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.The Langkawi Tourism Fee will be changed to RM10 per room, per day starting 1st January 2025 onwards in line with the Langkawi Municipal Council.For key events, a charge of RM20 per night will apply. Key events include Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace (LIMA), Le Tour De Langkawi, Ironman, and Oceanman Malaysia.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I liked the tide restaurant. The pool was very nice. The environment and cosy place, very good service, nice music in the breeze and overall a very nice place, looking forward to coming again soon.

The Swim Up Bar has a wonderful panoramic view. The Spa is set well away from the main hotel and is supremely quiet and relaxing. The over sea bar and restaurant, that the Westin shares with St Regis, is a magical spot at night.

The best part of this hotel is the staff attentiveness and service - just outstanding. They go out of the way to make everything comfortable for you. At the point of check in they upgraded our room to sea facing without asking, which was wonderful. The breakfast spread and quality was fantastic. On the last day, I was injured during kayaking. Soon after that all the staff were very attentive to me. They took me to doctor at night, and brought me back. The driver was waiting with me at the clinic. Next day morning, they arranged for car again at 9am and waited for me to bring me to doctor. They called our room to find out how I am doing. For the breakfast, they prepared for a table most comfortable for me as I was on wheelchair after the injury.
