The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that hot water is only available from 06:00 to 12:00. I loved the pool and the gym. I will come back for a longer stay in the future. It was a really nice resort. Bonus is that there’s a laundromat across the road. The malls are about a 5 minute walk.

Great Hotel, wide variety of food for breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall fairly clean but towels could do with more of a wash. Would definitely book again if ever coming back to langkawi

Friendly and very helpful staff, location was good nearby to most places, two things I dislike is no international breakfast most of food we can’t eat because its more local.. and there is only one trash bin in the toilet no trash bin in the room that’s was annoying.

Absolutely brilliant. Place a little tired and needs some love but clean and tidy. Pool area epic for kids (a specific kids pool was a dream!). Breakfast was epic with lots of variety every day and super tasty. We had two adults and two kids in a family suite. Heaps of room. Staff were super helpful. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and a local mall down the road with an ATM. Great place to base your stay on Langkawi.

I recently stayed at Dayang Bay Resort in Langkawi, and I must say the property has a lot of potential. The hotel boasts an incredible outlook, with stunning views that make for a relaxing and picturesque experience. The highlight for me was the beautiful swimming pool, which offers a fantastic view – it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. However, while the outdoor areas are impressive, the rooms left a lot to be desired. They felt a bit dated and, unfortunately, weren’t as clean as I had hoped. The furniture and amenities could use some updating, and there were noticeable signs of wear and tear. The cleanliness of the room could have been better maintained as well. Overall, Dayang Bay Resort is a beautiful property with great views and a fantastic pool, but I would recommend it for those who can overlook the room condition and are primarily looking for a nice place to enjoy the outdoor spaces. With a little attention to the room upkeep, this place could truly shine.

Good facilities, comfortable room , as described on the page ,we had fantastic weather. Water stations around to fill your bottles, separate ladies only pool which was mostly unused as guests were families and couples mostly.
