Very nice location inside the castle. Terrace with view to castle, mountain and city. The host was very friendly. We had ordered in the evening food at the restaurant, tasty at very good price. Breakfast local standard. The path to the castle is steep and narrow in places. Century old polished smooth. Granite stones can be very slippery when it rains.

Brilliant location with great views above the castle. Sunset from the terrace was amazing and breakfast the next morning was lovely, both the view and the food. We had the cabin in the garden which, although quite basic, has everything you need. Everyone was really friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

The room was very big and very typical with wooden sailing and an ottoman vibe. The house is beautiful. The staff was very nice and its very clean. The restaurant on site serves until 11pm (and is good local food) and breakfast is very good with petullas buns with a nice view on the valley

A night in the castle and at the highest point. A magical place where half of Albania, the Adriatic Sea, Tirana, Durrës, Cape Rodon, Lezha, etc. are at your fingertips. I can't find words to describe the hotel. The nature, the architecture of the building (since Ottoman times), the rooms very nicely furnished, simple, clean (traditional buildings) not modern. Each room has its own beauty with a view of the mountain, the sea, the lakes The historical museum, one of the most beautiful in Albania, 50 m away. The ethnographic museum, the hammam, the teqe of Dollma, the secret tunnel, the water source, etc., make our visit unforgettable. the old bazaar about 150 meters away where we bought some really special products. A truly unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this magical place!!!

A fabulous place, really helpful staff and very professional. They have a long experience in tourism tehy explain the attractions (lakes, rivers, mountains, Boville lake etc., etc.) they never tire of making the guest to have a good time. The restaurant is fantastic, traditional dishes, very abundant breakfast with organic products and delicious coffee.

The view, the staff, the cleanliness, everything is perfect. I started with a visit to the museum of the castle, the ethnographic museum, the hammam, the dolma bathhouse, the water source, the secret tunnel, etc., etc., then a lunch at the Merlika restaurant, I was amazed by the place. and decided to stay. Very clean simple but nicely decorated room. The dining room is very but very beautiful. I didn't like it (hard to find a free room, almost always full). I highly recommend it!

Great location in the castle with a nice view around. Close to the main streets with the market. The host was very helpful and they prepared tasty breakfast.
