Resort Overview

Situated in the world's largest free-standing dome, Tropical Islands features an indoor rain forest, spa facilities, and lagoon-style pool. Decorated with authentic palm trees and an artificial beach, it also boasts Germany's highest water slide. The outdoor AMAZONIA area also features Whitewater River, a unique lazy river pool. Free WiFi access is available in many spots in the resort.
Guests can choose from a variety of accommodation, including rooms designed on a theme of South America, Africa or Asia-Pacific. The modern rooms are air-conditioned and include satellite TV, free WiFi, a minibar and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer.
13 restaurants and bars offer a wide variety of dining experiences. As well as a buffet breakfast in the Sawadee Restaurant, the Palm Beach Restaurant, Aroi Dee and Mondial Food Court offer a selection of international specialities and freshly made cocktails. Tropical Garden features multiple-course meals, while Tropino Restaurant serves children's food.
Beauty and massage treatments can be booked. The Tropino Children’s Club provides entertainment. There is a Shopping Boulevard, minigolf, tropical sauna and a fully-equipped gym.
The Tropical Islands are easily reachable from the A13 motorway, just 3 km away. Brand Tropical Islands Train Station is 2.7 km away. Admission to Tropical World and the Sauna & Spa complex is included (except for tent reservations) while the use of the pools, slides, the fitness club and AMAZONIA are also included in the price of the reservation.

They are located in the Rainforest Camps inside the Dome at Tropical Islands and are equipped with mattresses, pillows and a light duvet. The bed linen is provided in the tent (bed yourself). Please note that the canvas tents have no electricity supply and the use of sauna and fitness club is not included. The shared bathrooms can be reached within walking distance. As the tents are located in a tropical setting and are not equipped with air conditioning, the temperature in the tents may be higher.

Premium Tents are made out of wood and are high enough for guests to be able to stand up in them. Toilets and showers are only a short walk away. There are also 2 made-up beds and storage facilities in each tent.

Please note that while guests cannot access their booked rooms until the regular check-in time, the indoor water and spa facilities can be accessed upon arrival (subject to wait times).
Due to maintenance work Whitewater River is closed 03.06.2024 until 28.06.2024 included. During this time, the water slide tower, jungle splash and water slides in the lagoon are still available to guests.
Please note that a bath robe can be rented for a fee and a deposit. Room guests only pay a deposit.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Loved everything - warm, green, beautiful place. Water attractions all excellent - the sea, the waterfall, Amazon.... Saunas- you leave all your worries, all stress there! Definitely will go back.

The water park was super fun, and the size and detail of the place really blew my mind. It really felt like we were in the tropics - from seeing flamingos, to walking through leafy jungle, to all the different huts architected in the styles of various islands, it was really quite magical. The slides, pools and saunas are incredible and there are many to choose from. There were plenty of loungers to relax on. It was also very clean everywhere that we went.

We liked the outdoor pool. The yellow slide was cool. Staff were permissive of boisterousness. Top class sauna complex. Group swim and whirlpool were great. You have freedom to explore the park at night which is great.
