This temple is located away from the main road of Koyasan which gives it a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The staff was very accommodating regarding my physical disability. The morning prayer was an exceptional experience, and the breakfast after it was very delicious.

I was very satisfied with my stay in Kongo Sanmaiin. It was a nice and quiet temple, just enjoyed the silence. The monks were very friendly and helpful. The morning ceremony was a really interesting and amazing experience, don't miss it!

The room was beautiful with view on the garden, the area is extremely quiet and peaceful, the staff is friendly, there is also a small "onsen" inside the structure. In the morning I joined the prayer with the monks, a beautiful experience. The breakfast was good.
