Absolutely large, comfortable, and new lodging in about the best location possible along the canal in Kurashiki. It was well-appointed and decorated.

Our best stay in Japan. Most traditional place I have been. Super super fliendly staff. Easy to get inside and able to order UberEats and eat in the hotel room. Very clean en a lot of natural light.

The most beautiful, quiet Japanese house for first time travellers! Facilities were great and location was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of cafes and local stores (ceramic stores) surrounding hotel which was awesome for exploring. Although it is out of Okayama, staying in Kurashiki was much better to get away from busy crowds. Highly recommended, worth the money!!

The property is beautiful and clean. The staff is outstanding. The kitchenette was very well appointed, the fruit provided daily was fresh. The bathroom was spacious and very beautiful.

One of the most beautiful and peaceful places I have ever been. The facilities were impecable, the kitchenette, the bath tub and simply the entire place. The staff were also very lovely. I wish I could come back.

Property is just amazing as you are in the middle of Bikan historical center. Bread and other amenities for the breakfast are delicious (bread, jam, coffee, …) Very silent place during the day or during the night

This property is exceptional. Sitting on the low sofa in this historical building, looking through the windows at the boats drifting along the canal whilst drinking sake was a highlight of our trip. It was hard to leave.

This is by far the classiest property that I have stayed in anywhere in the world. It’s pure elegance and very high brow design and beautiful location.
