The views from the house are incredible. The tavern next to the house we stayed in was the cherry on top where a master chef made our experience even better. The food, the atmosphere and calm of this place was just great.

The hosts and personnel of the hotel are jewels! The views from the rooms were amazing, the rooms were nicely designed (typical "old" Bulgarian style), we loved the heavy wool rugs and the fresh air. The rooms were overall clean and comfortable. Our rooms were a bit far from the restaurant but it was a great opportunity to walk through the little town. We really enjoyed our stay in the Kosovo Houses and would come back again! Thank you Swetlana and team!

This whole place is a hidden gem! The village is surrounded by high mountains and the houses are from the 1850's made of stones with slate roofs, which makes it so unique and beautiful. We had the house at the highest point (a bit of a climb!! :) but the view is worth it, absolutely breathtaking! The house has 3 apartments and our was spacious and filled with fresh cold air on the ground floor which is a luxury at this time. We loved that the place had its history and Svetlana was very kind to share it with us. We had dinner, tried a few local dishes and they were fantastic! We are travelling a lot and this place is absolutelly at the top of our list, a MUST SEE! :)
