Apartment was great - good sized bedroom with plenty of storage, modern luxury bathroom and separate living room kitchen. Large terrace with dining table, chairs and loungers (we were on the ground floor, but still up some steps) with superb views of the sea, the mountains of the Mani beyond and to the town of Koroni and it's castle. Koroni is a 'real' town with plenty going on even in October and is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Artaki Beach is just opposite where we went for a morning swim every day and has a super taverna right on the beach. There is another fabulous beach, Zaga which is the other side of the castle only 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car. Lots of other great beaches to drive to and interesting places like Methoni, Finikounta and Pylos to visit. Finally I must mention Antonis our host. A very kind man who couldn't do enough for you - he provides nice finishing touches like beach umbrellas, mosquito machines and a welcome pack including a bottle of wine. We had a wonderful holiday.

We had the pleasure of staying in beautiful Koroni for 8 nights in earlier October - and Palagia was a perfect base. Attention to detail is everywhere, from the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in, to the beautiful bathroom, quality toiletries, welcome basket and a view you never want to stop looking at. Sunrises here are special, please do try and get yourself out of that amazing bed and onto the balcony about 20 mins before sunrise to watch the glow over the hills - simply stunning. Antonis and his friend Nick were the most friendly and gracious hosts, and the apartment was spotlessly cleaned 3 times during our short stay. Thank you Antonis, we’ll be back
