The location of the hotel is wonderful - in the middle of the historical fortress in the city of Kongsvinger, on a hill overlooking the valley of the river Glomma. The rooms are located in the restored building of the fortress, equipped with modern comfort, the room and its interior really liked. The bathroom is made originally, equipped with detergents, which is very convenient and practical. Lighting and heating can be adjusted individually.

An interesting place to stay - in the old barracks block of a hilltop fortress. Great views from the grounds. Friendly welcome, spotlessly clean room, good facilities.

Amazing building. The place is marvelous. Really fantastic. But I guess the room was clean more thourully after I left...

A beautiful hotel undergoing conversion from a military barracks within the castle grounds. Staff were very helpful and friendly and we ate at the resort in the evening and the food was excellent. Would recommend and I'm sure will only get better as the conversion completes
