Fantastic location, right in the heart of town, old world hospitality, very helpful staff, and a very comfortable room. The breakfast was great, I ordered an aloo and luchi, both of which were delicious. The little extras in the bathroom, the coffee and tea in the room, were all much appreciated. I look forward to returning.

The hotel location is perfect for visiting Kolkata. The hotel staff was very helpful and changed our room which was an even number and very noisy to the other side odd numbers which is less noisy and has a good view.

What a great hotel this is. It is close to the Victoria memorial, India Museum and a short taxi ride to the flower market and the Howrah Bridge. Staff members were courteous and helpful. There was plenty of variety at the buffet breakfast. Evening meals were partaken at the hotel. There was a wide variety of eastern and western type meals on the menu.
