Amazing chilled out vibes at this eco-conscious resort. The beach is amazing and right on your doorstep. Beds were comfortable and facilities were great and clean. Food was amazing just a little pricey but I guess this is expected of a small island. Loved the workout studio and crafts area. Plenty of hammocks under the trees to lie and read/take in the incredible surroundings.

Great place for backpackers travelling on a shoestring. Possible to volunteer in a very quiet, friendly and laidback atmosphere. Great (healthy) food on the menu as well. Good place to meet new friends from all over the world! Very friendly and helpful management (merci Flo!) The Khmer staff behind the scenes is working in good labour conditions compared to Cambodian standards which is great because you support them too by visiting here.

The Location of the resort is beautiful, the beach is simply astonishing and the bungalows are blended beautifully in the surrounding landscape. The food is very delicious and the prices for food are fair. The plancton tour was amazing. The local staff was very kind and did a great job.

I had the most wonderful time staying at Kaktus for around 2 weeks. The property is beautiful, surrounded by forest and sea on the two sides. Kaktus also offers various paid (kayaking, boat tours, hikes, snorkeling) and free activities (yoga, meditation, art, music) which keep you engaged throughout the day. I spent my days alternating between lazing on the hammocks and hiking and snorkeling off the various beaches. The volunteers and staff are really friendly and helpful, making the experience even better!

Simplicity and of the best beaches on your doorstep. If you like to disconnect, do almost nothing, enjoy good food and coffee, and not worry if locked your room or not, than this is the place to be. Read all the reviews before booking, they are accurate.

Not many of the cabins are actually beach fronting, but our one was and it was very comfortable and well appointed. The food is delicious and there are lots of comfortable seating options as well as a fantastic stretch of beach with good sunset views.

Beautiful location on a private beach. Beach huts were nice and had everything you need. They are basic rustic huts but we enjoyed our stay and extended our stay. Be warned if your scared of spiders this probably isn't the place for you.
