The fine print
Guests are advised to book the boat ticket with your guesthouse in Sihanoukville or book directly with any travel agency or the ferry offices in the city.Please note that your destination port will be Saracen Bay, located on the east side of the island. From here, guests can enjoy a 35-minute jungle trek to visit Sunset Beach. The beginning of the trail will be right behind the dive shop. Bringing a bottle of water, a mosquito repellent and wearing proper shoes are highly recommended to enjoy the trek. Guests are recommended to pack light and avoid luggage with wheels or leave some large belongings at the guesthouse or the travel agent on the mainland.BOAT TRANSFER High Season (November-May)Our remote beach is NOT operated by any of the speedferry companies. Only a few companies stop at the jetty closest to our path, BuvaSea and G.T.V.C. Your destination port on the island will be Saracen Bay, from where you will start a ~35 minute jungle trek to Sunset Beach. You’ll find the beginning of the trail between THE DIVE SHOP CAMBODIA AND SUNNY BUNGALOWS You can also transfer to M’pay Bay Village in the north of the Island with G.T.V.C speed boat and hire yourself a private transfer with a longtail boat for 25- 40$ to Sunsetbeach Low Season (May-November) Due windy and wavy conditions (most between may-september) our remote beach is NOT operated by any boats. Only a few companies stop at the jetty closest to our path, BuvaSea and G.T.V.C.. Please book your ticket with your guesthouse in Cambodia, any travel agency, the ferry offices in town or online. We stayed in a tent for 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it was. It was the cooler season so we weren't too hot at all and slept like babies to the sounds of the island. Restaurant had great food and the staff were lovely. The beach is one of the nicest I've been on anywhere.

Fantastic hideaway. Robinson bungalows is a real treasure. It’s a beautiful place to unwind relax and swim. If you’re looking for activities, jet skis, beaches crowded with tourists and night life this is not the place for you! Instead we got a great chance to relax and reconnect with nature. The staff and other guests were extra friendly. Highly recommended.

The most breathtaking sunset view I've ever experienced... The sea was absolutely serene, even though the opposite side of the island was windswept. The Robinson side, however, remained perfectly calm. We can use the stand-up paddle for free There are two ways to reach this hidden gem: Take a private boat from the Sarabeach terminal—though this service is sometimes unavailable due to rough weather. Opt for a short hike across the island to reach the other side. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking boots, as the trek takes around 40 minutes.

Exactly what to expect from a beach bungalow: basic, clean, right on the beach, not next to the neighbors and with a mosquito net!!! Beach restaurant and bar with exclusively excellent Khmer food. Very friendly staff, like staying in a family. Amazing sunsets!!!!

Simple and clean bungalows without electric outlets. Good place to detach from internet as there is none except for the restaurant area. Nature is stunning.

If I could give this more than a 10, I would! We loved our stay here and ended up staying 4 nights. Still sad to leave! Perfect location right on the beach, lovely staff and the food is great! Free use of the paddleboards is also a great benefit which we made the use of every morning. The tents are really spacious and the hammocks outside are a great touch. So quiet and peaceful, I already want to go back!

I loved this place. Sunset beach is delightful so laid back and peaceful. The bungalow was directly on the beach so you could go to sleep listening to the waves. The accommodation is set within beautifully tended gardens where you can relax, drink and eat freshly prepared Cambodian food. There are other options on the beach for eating. The place has its own paddle boards that you can take any time. You can also rent kayaks to visit nearby bays from a place on the beach. The bioluminescence is incredible here. A wonderful place to stay.
