Location was great and the man in charge is lovely. He gave me a free taxi to the pier for my trip out and a last minute free taxi to meet my transfer. He had lots of info and I booked my day trip with him. A very happy man 😊

Kashew Nut Bungalows is one of the most affordable stays on the otherwise resort-filled Ko Muk Island. It is located in a central location, at a walking distance from the Pier, Sivalai Beach and various eating options. The property is owned and managed by the wonderful Mr.Yai, who knows the best places to explore on the island and can arrange transfers and tours for you at decent rates. He also ferries guests around the island on his motorbike if he is free. I stayed in a tent in the property, which was roomy, with electicity and fan. The common bathroom was decent. The island itself is wonderful (though busy!), with various hiking, kayaking and snorkeling options available.

The host himself is the best! Very carrying, brings you to the charlie beach when he is free. We also booked a great snorkelling tour with him to the emerald cave and koh kradan (do the tour at 7.30!!! When we left the cave sooooo many people went in, was even hard to swim).
