The architecture of the main hotel building is magnificent while the lodge that we stayed in was very cosy. It was good value for money for 4 of us to stay in the family lodge.

The place is really good. It's a bit away from center of Arima Onsen but not far to walk. The atmosphere of the hotel is really good. The staffs's service are really good and helpful. Onsens (there are 2 in the hotel) are excellent, quite and clean. Breakfast is marvelous in traditional Japanese style. The only thing I and my family regret is that we stayed for only 1 night. If you plan to come here, please stay for at less 2 nights. There are plenty of parking lot in front of the hotel in hotel's area property and they allow us to park even before and after check out which is very kind.

The hotel was charming and spacious with lovely views. The breakfast was outstanding. Generous servings and beautifully served. Onsen was spacious, hot and clean. Staff were very kind and helpful. An excellent start to our trip.
