A great little hut in a good location decorated nicely. A very comfortable stay, and the room looks clean and modern. Breakfast included which is nice but didn't get to choose and was the same both days. Staff are really lovely and will help with anything you need- tea and coffee making facilities and water given each day. Can also rent bikes from them. Only cons were basic breakfast and we did have a few lizards visiting us/able to get in (but this didn't really bother us)

Very helpful staff! The gentleman picked us up and dropped us off at the port for free. You can rent a scooter on-site at a good price. The lady welcomed us with juice. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and new—no bugs! Quiet location, delicious breakfast in the morning. The view from the balcony was beautiful! I highly recommend it!

I recently stayed at The Resting Place on Koh Yao Yai, and it was absolutely perfect. The bungalow was lovely, with a beautiful sea view, comfortable beds, and everything you could possibly need. The owner and his staff go above and beyond to fulfill all your needs. He even picked me up from the pier, which made everything so easy from the start. You can book tours and mopeds directly through him, and he always ensures you get the best price. They also prepare a delicious Thai breakfast for you every morning, which was such a nice touch. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. everything was perfect!

Lovely bungalow (with a resident bathroom lizard 😁). Mist comfortable night's sleep on our travels so far. Good breakfast, helpful owners picked us up and dropped us off at the pier. It's proper R&R here so don't expect loads to do!

Yon - he was amazing! (staff) (thank you for your help with ferry and catch a lizard ;)) free pick-up from the ferry was nice, we could rent a cheap motorbike, and Yon taught us how to drive a motorbike. Also room was clean and the same like in the photo :)

Really enjoyed our stay at Resting Place and we’re sorry to leave! The rooms are small ‘villas’ with private balconies and are spacious and very clean and with a nicely renovated bathroom. Good breakfast and the location is convenient for the piers and the major beaches. What makes Resting Place exceptional is the host Khun Yon! Nothing is too much trouble for him and he made our stay so relaxed and comfortable. He has good scooters for rent, organised a wonderful private long tail boat trip for us, sorted our ferry and taxi back to Phuket airport, and even took us to the pier for our ferry. He made our stay special and completely hassle-free. Thank you so much!!!

bungalows we’re beautiful. staff were very accommodating even though we didn’t speak their language. Amazing location, but you need a scooter of transport to get around the island.
