The hotel has really nice spacious rooms. They can pick you up from the pier and drop you back there when your stay is over. The staff are really friendly. The hotel is located near many restaurants and stores, making it really convenient. If you don't ride motorbikes, you can walk from there to popular beaches and snorkeling points, like Ao Leuk, Shark Bay and more (if you don't bother walking up and down some hills). They also have a shuttle service to some beaches. Very good AC in the room.

Everyone at the hostel was incredibly friendly, helpful, and spoke English, which made communication and getting assistance very easy. The welcoming atmosphere added to the overall positive experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained.

The hotel has a free transfer from the pier (and has a shuttle that you can use to get back there), the room is cosy and spacious. Beaches are in walking distance as well as everything else like laundry, shops and restaurants.

Really enjoyable time here - the room was very spacious, beds comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful during flooding and pushed me in a plastic box across the flooded road to pick up washing :)

Amazing value for money! I felt so clean and comfortable here. The bed and bed sheets are so comfortable, I had great nights sleep here. Everything clean.

Fantastic staff, cleanliness, great comfortable beds. Very impressed with Kyi Phyu Aung, the front office receptionist. Outstanding service from her. Helped in tracking my misplaced phone. Speaks English and is very knowledgeable about Koh Tao. Nothing she couldn't help me with in my questions and concerns. Cleaning staff came and helped with a mess I created. We'd definitely come back here. And there's a kettle in the dining area for guest use and the hotel restaurant looked good. Thank you!!

Aukotan Place proposes a good price/quality ratio. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, the shower was good and the breakfast was basic. They offer motorbike rental and all went well. Overall it is a pretty solid hotel for a good price if you do not search for a view, luxury, the beach or the jungle.. we liked it. The staff was professional and kind.
