Resort Overview

Surrounded by tropical vegetation, this resort is located on the beaches of Ao Prao. It offers accommodation with a private balcony overlooking the sea.
Guests of Ao Prao Resort can take a dip in the outdoor pool or engage in water sports such as canoeing or snorkelling. Hiking and biking trails are also available.
Fitted with wooden flooring, air-conditioned rooms at Ao Prao Resort feature Thai décor. In addition to tea/coffee making facilities and a minibar, a TV with satellite channels and a DVD player are included. Private bathrooms come with a hairdryer.

Please note that from 1 November 2017 onwards, guests are required to pay for the admission fee to Khao Laem Ya Mu Ko Samet National Park by themselves at the resort reception desk. Guests are kindly advised to contact the property directly for more information. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and the credit card used during booking upon check-in. Please note that the name of the credit card holder must be the same as the guest's name. Please also be informed that the property will strictly not allow guests to check in if the holder's name of the credit card used during booking is different from the guest's name.
In case that the guest does not bring his/her own credit card used during booking, the guest will be required to pay the full amount again at the front desk. The total amount which was previously deducted from the credit card used during booking will be refunded to the same card within 30-45 days.
One child under 3 years stays free of charge when using existing beds.
For customers who make reservations from your channel from Friday, July 9, 2021 onwards and wishing to use the parking lot, there will be a parking fee of 100 baht per car per night (pay to the staff at the service point).
Hotel shuttle boat service (chargeable), please contact a hotel staff at Ao Prao Pier. From Ao Prao Pier (mainland) at 11AM / 1:30 PM / 4PM From Koh Samet at 10AM / 12:30PM / 3PMGuests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Yes it was very good. We stayed for 12 days. The service is top quality. All the staff was friendly, helpful and service minded. Tanya really take care for us when we need. We have been there 3 times before and like to come back again on day. The beach and water quality is great. It is weary private and relaxing. Best from all our family

Great transit ferry to hotel coordination with the staff. The break starts the minute you check in at the Ao Prao pier serving the 3 hotels on the beach. There are 3 hotels on the same beach but Ao Prao Resort has the nicest beach spot. The Vimane is more luxurious but has the least pleasant beach stretch. Kerala Coco is in the middle but is the busy type, family type place. Not too busy and noisy Samet beach with speedboats engine and loud music at night. Choice to eat in 4 different restaurants on the beach. No shop to buy snacks on the beach other than the little hotel's shop. Hotel staff was nice and rooms were clean. The bathroom is a bit oldish though. Bed was comfortable but the pillows need a change. There is an attempt in proposing a variety of types of pillows but they were not of good quality or perhaps overused. No hot water in upper cottage room and pressure was unstable. Sewage smell at night. Buffet had a good enough choice but coffee was not good. No milk alternatives on the buffet ( perhaps on demand?). Overall great experience in Samet and definetely will return to Ao Prao beach for a quiet relaxing break of 3 nights maximum but would warn on the issues above. Happy with this resort overall but it can be a greater experience if they can make some improvements with modernizing their bathroom, change the pillows and upgrade the coffee to match with their selling price. They have the best beach stretch for the guest on Ao Prao.
