This is the only hotel on Samae beach, in my opinion this is the best beach on the island. It is old fashioned property, but the rooms are nice, the internet works fine, and the garden is very pleasant for walking. Definitely great value for money. And of course beach, beach, beach

We arrived at the wrong ferry port but the hotel still sent a free Baht Bus to collect us - then the staff went out of their way to make this a memorable stay

We loved being right on the beach. The hotel has its own section of the beach, so basically a private beach. The sunsets were superb! Location was fabulous being far from the 'madding' crowds. I would definitely stay there again.

The sea was lovely for swimming in. Good food and staff, reasonably priced. It was busy (december) but never felt over crowded. Rooms were basic, bed a bit hard, but clean and cleaned every day. Quiet at night, no loud beach bars or anything like that. Very peaceful. Perfect for 3 or 4 days ...might get a bit dull if you stayed longer unless you went over to the other side. Great value for money.

This was my 7th visit to Xanadu Resort. Great breakfast, great location on the beach, friendly staff, comfy and clean rooms, nice food in restaurant on the beach, great sun set, nice walks along the beach to view point, could walk to the neighbouring beach (Tien beach). Free hotel sunbeds,

Directly at the beach, chairs and umbrella provided rooms have a nice size, nice park area, breakfast was Buffett style and ok for local standards
