Resort Overview

Golden Bay Cottage is surrounded by tropical gardens, while only 10 metres from the beach. It has free Wi-Fi in the entire hotel, and a restaurant which offers Continental breakfast.

“Great location but soulless hotel”

The location of the hotel is perfect right on the beach which is sandy. The food at the restaurant was great and not over priced. There are lots of other restaurants in easy walking distance either on the beach or heading up to the main road.

The beach. Khlong Dao Beach is one of the most beautiful in Asia with fine sand, gently sloping into the sea. It was perfect for my 87-year-old mother. Golden Bay makes the most of this with a beautiful lawn looking out to the Andaman Sea and a small terrace perfectly sited for beachfront lunches and cocktails as the sun sets out in front of the hotel. The food was limited but wonderfully good and the staff were lovely. I also loved the monitor lizards that from time to time wondered across the lawn and the hornbills that landed on the roof of my hut at night. It was a great place to spend a very relaxing Christmas.

The location is excellent,right in the heart of one of the best beaches on Koh Lanta. The rooms were very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect. As soon as we got there, the staff welcomed us with a delicious tea and a lovely smile. In the last minute we decided to upgrade our room and we chose to stay in the Deluxe Vila Sea View. It was the best thing we did! Amazing location, great breakfast, people, food. We will definitely come back in the future. Thank you all the staffs, it was the perfect stay!
